HALONG INDOCHINA SAILS TEAM
The Indochina Sails 1 and Indochina Sails 2 are identical boats and were both launched in 2007. Each comprises 14 cabins (Superior and Deluxe Cabins). The deluxe cabins are a bit larger and feature rainfall showers and are all situated on the second decks of the boats.

The newest boat, the Indochina Sails 3, launched in late 2008, features ceramic artworks handcrafted in Bat Trang, well known as the home of the country’s most talented ceramic craftsmen. All of our boats are decorated with silk from Van Phuc, the “Silk Village”. In addition to Superior and Deluxe cabins the Indo 3 has very spacious Suites located on the second deck and featuring bathrooms with bathtub/Jacuzzi as well as showers.

Indochina Sails is proud to announce the launch of the newest addition to its fleet of luxury junks. The “Indochina Sails Premium” began sailing the tranquil waters of Halong Bay in November 2010.
Following in the tradition of our entire fleet, the Indochina Sails Premium offers luxurious accommodation, professional and friendly service, fine Vietnamese and Western cuisine and an itinerary designed to maximize your holiday pleasure.
Our junks are built to the highest standards, in a time-honoured style, with first-class modern facilities. We have combined the best of Old World and New and the best of East and West to create a unique and memorable way to explore one of Mother Nature’s most spectacular creations.
The Indochina Sails Premium comprises 24 exquisitely appointed cabins, ultra spacious public areas, Massage Cabin and Gym.
When not in your cabin you can relax and soak in the beauty of the Bay from the immense sundeck. The sundeck’s size allows for large groups to gather together and for couples to find a private spot to enjoy the splendor passing by during the day or to stargaze in the evening.
In addition to the sundeck, our newest vessel has an expansive indoor lounge on the second deck. Boasting the biggest windows of any boat on the Bay and comfy lounge sofas spread over the airy space where our guests can enjoy drinks, conversation and perhaps a game of cards, chess or scrabble. We have provided a special spot for enjoying indoor comforts without missing a bit of the incredible scenery Halong Bay has to offer.

While all those who visit Halong Bay are charmed by the archipelago’s beauty, few visitors are aware that the three-thousand islands that dot this bay are home to many rare plants, including species found nowhere else in the world. We chose our boat’s name - the Indochina Sail - because, like the plant it was named after, our junk is perfectly suited to this environment. With its golden sails, polished woodwork and refined, Asian décor, the Indochina Sail offers an unforgettable ambiance of relaxed elegance. Join us, and see Halong Bay in style.
Life on board
Measuring 40 meters long and 8,5 meters wide, our custom-built wooden junk features three decks, all outfitted with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to Passenger Cabins, with sleeping space for 30 people. The Reception, Restaurant, the Indochina Sails Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, perfect for our morning Tai Chi classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails .Guests are welcome to make use of our binoculars, snorkeling equipment, and top-of-the-line Canadian made Seaward kayaks.
Accommodation
While the view is undoubtedly the best feature of each of our ten guest cabins, guests will also appreciate the rooms’ tasteful décor and furnishings. To complement the bay’s natural beauty we have outfitted the cabins in natural materials: wood floors covered with sedge mats; walls covered with woven bamboo panels; and ceilings decorated with bamboo panels hand-painted with a ginger motif. The standing shower, meanwhile, features mosaic tiles in Orchid flower patterns.
Restaurant
A pleasant ambiance, attentive staff and great views make our restaurant the perfect place to sample the exotic delights of Vietnamese cuisine. Guests can look forward to lavish international breakfast buffets, casual, sit-down lunches of Vietnamese dishes, and formal dinners with delectable fusion cuisine. All dishes are prepared to please both the eye and the palate. Special BBQ dinners are served on the Sundeck on weekends, or upon a group’s request.

Visit Van gia fishing villages - this is one of the largest village and oldest village in Halong bay, you will have chance to experience their daily life in the ocean. You can do kayaking around this village or just seat on the small bamboo boat (sampan) was rowed by fishermen.
- After visiting village, you back to the boat and now is time for relaxed, you can seat or line down on the sundeck chair under the sunset and amongst the imposing limestone rocks, enjoy some dinks...

DAY 02: HALONG INDOCHINA SAILS TOURS: Visit Halong bay - Titop island beach (Brunch)

on on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes).
Visit Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels will be supplied.
Around 9.00: Back to indochina sails boat, you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier). 09.30 Enjoy full breakfast Set Menu or Buffet in the Indochina sails dining room. We will settle bills after breakfast. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the Halong bay scenery as we approach the pier.
11.00 Arrive at Habour. Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

07.45 Enjoy Breakfast served in the dining room.
08.30 Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s more untouched locales. Exact locations depend on tide conditions. Enjoy a leisurely day of kayaking, cave exploring and swimming. A multi-course lunch will be served mid-day.
16.00 Return by tender to the Indochina Sails boat for the second night
DAY 03: HALONG INDOCHINA SAILS TOURS: Visit Halong bay - Titop island beach (Brunch)
